Miguel Silva headshot

Miguel is a San Diego native and BOC certified athletic trainer holding a degree from San Diego State University. With 2000+ hours of clinic training at SDSU and 3 years of experience as a working professional, he has encountered numerous collegiate and pro level athletes, as well as recreational clientele. While at SDSU he worked with the Football team during an undefeated season and with Women’s track & field when they took the Mountain West conference title. He spent the end of his college career at San Diego City College working with a wide variety of athletes and sports including (but not limited to) volleyball, soccer, tennis, and baseball.

After graduation, he was offered a position at San Diego City College where he became a preceptor for the SDSU athletic training program. In 2019 he took a job with the Texas Rangers Baseball club, to work as an Athletic Trainer in their Dominican Republic complex. Here he gained countless hours of experience with professional athletes ranging from rookies to major leaguers, and was exposed to the fast paced nature of elite sports.

As a practitioner, Miguel has a lot of passion for helping clients get back on their feet, and strives to ensure every client receives the quality care they need and deserve. As a newer member to the Kinetik team, joining the group in Spring 2021, he has adopted the macro lens approach in his treating, and believes it the most effective method in a clinical setting. Miguel continues to expand his knowledge and abilities through certification courses and literature to constantly improve the value he can offer to his clients.

When not on the clock, Miguel is an avid movie goer and traveler. He enjoys weekly trips to the movie theater and is on a mission to fill his passport with stamps before its expiration.
